Continuing Education Requirements for Texas (TPTA)

If you're a Physical Therapist or PTA based in Texas, you can still earn CEUs from Learn Movement courses — but there is an additional step required for credit approval through the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA).

How to Apply for CEU Credit in Texas

You must complete the Individual Course Participation Application (Form 2) through the TPTA's Continuing Competence Approval Program (CCAP).

👉 Go to: ccap.tpta.org

  1. Create an account.

  2. Go to the dropdown menu labeled “Individual Application”.

  3. Select “Individual Course Participation Application (Form 2)”.

Required Documents to Upload:

  1. Certificate of Completion with CEU credit hours

  2. Course schedule/agenda

  3. Speaker list

  4. Learning objectives

  5. Instructional methods

  6. Relevance to physical therapy

  7. Course evaluation form

You’ll also need to answer several questions such as:

  • Are you a PT or PTA?

  • Did the course include differential diagnosis?
(No additional documents are required for these.)

Note: A $40 per course fee applies for authorization from the TPTA. This cost is separate from your course registration and is paid directly to the TPTA.
