Movement System Syndromes of the Knee

Join us LIVE to learn the management of your knee patients, or study at your own pace!

Speaker: Sylvia Czuppon, PT, DPT, OCS

Date / Time: March 4, 2024 Monday, 6pm-9pm central time (may be purchased as a pre-recorded course after the live event)

This 3-hour live webinar will be focused on management of the knee utilizing the kinesiopathologic model.  The kinesiopathologic model proposes that movement is contributing to the pathology.  When you learn the different knee syndromes, you'll recognize that it's not just about preventing the dynamic knee valgus!

Basic understanding of the kinesiopathologic principles will make it easier to understand the various knee movement system syndromes (please refer to the free Lower Quarter Basics course).  How do we determine the knee movement system diagnosis?  What interventions are appropriate for the knee patients?  It will depend on the movement system diagnosis and its contributing factors!  Learn the difference between the various knee movement system syndromes and the specific treatments.

At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

1)      Identify differences between kinesiopathologic and pathoanatomic approaches to management of musculoskeletal pain problems.

2)      Identify differences between the various movement system syndromes of the knee.

3)      Identify key tests/measures for each knee movement system diagnosis.

4)      Identify the most common contributing factors for each knee movement system diagnosis.

5)      Select appropriate interventions based on the knee movement system diagnosis and contributing factors.

What you'll get:

  • If purchased before 3/4/2024, a chance to attend the live webinar with Dr. Sylvia Czuppon (and ask questions!)
  • If purchased after 3/4/2024, this will be a self-paced pre-recorded course (must be completed within 90 days from date of purchase)
  • Recording access to the webinar until 6/2/2024 (or 3 months from the date of your purchase)
  • 3 hours CEU approved by CPTA

If you're interested in both KNEE and FOOT/ANKLE movement system syndromes, we recommend you purchase the bundle package to save the registration cost.  Go to THIS PAGE for the KNEE & ANKLE package.
