Webinar Description

This webinar will demonstrate the entire upper extremity systematic examination on a subject with shoulder pain.  Continuing from the first webinar, the live demonstration will provide clarity for the kinesiopathologic principles.  Clinical findings will be integrated at the end of the examination to come up with a movement system diagnosis.  You will also observe how a master clinician educates a patient about the diagnosis.  Home exercise program and modifications for functional tasks will be instructed.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand the difference between natural alignment & movement tests, and modified alignment & movement tests.
  • Recognize that suboptimal alignment and movement patterns can contribute to the subject's shoulder pain
  • Observe the process of integrating clinical findings to identify the movement system diagnosis
  • Learn how to prescribe the priority home program which includes modification of functional tasks and therapeutic exercises

To receive CEU approved by California PT Association, participant must complete the course evaluation AND score 80% or higher on the post-webinar quiz.  CEU will expire on February 25, 2027, therefore, post-webinar quiz must be passed before your recording access expires in the course page or by February 25, 2027, whichever comes first.
