Speaker Profile
Sylvia Lin, Pt, DPT, OCS
Dr. Sylvia Lin is Professor of Physical Therapy and Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Dr. Lin specializes in knee post-surgical rehabilitation and provides the highest quality of care for patients with musculoskeletal knee conditions. In addition to teaching orthopaedic content in the professional DPT curriculum, shee is a mentor and lecturer for the Washington University Clinical Residency in Orthopaedics. She serves as an Associate Editor for the British Journal of Sports Medicine and has held editorial or manuscript review roles with leading journals including the American Journal of Sports Medicine, the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, and Sports Medicine. She is the founder, coordinator and content facilitator for St. Louis Adolescent Female Sports Medicine Initiative to provide free community education about common health concerns in this population. She has presented nationally and internationally regarding movement system syndromes and post-operative management of knee conditions.
