The Movement System Syndromes of the Hip Course is open to physical therapists (PT) and physicians (MD) who are already familiar with the lumbar Movement System Syndromes concepts. If you have never taken any Movement System Syndromes course, we strongly encourage you to review the materials in the Lower Quarter Foundation Webinars and the Movement System Syndromes of the Lumbar Spine prior to registering for this course.

- Free attendance for the Sahrmann Lectureship (Wednesday 10/10/2025). This year, we have Cara L. Lewis PT, PhD, FAPTA from Boston University. Title of this year's lecture is "Diary of Joint: Adaptation of Hip Structure Overtime."

You will always have access to the Lower Quarter Basics course for reviewing the kinesiopathologic principles, and systematic examination videos.

The 2-day hybrid course consists of lectures and lab primarily about movement system syndromes (MSS) of the hip. The continuum of intervention programs will also be discussed. Participants are strongly encouraged to review the materials in the Lower Quarter Foundation Webinars and the Movement System Syndromes of the Lumbar Spine prior to taking this course. Participants will focus their learning on femoral and hip movement system syndromes, hip-specific tests, and associated interactions between the hip and the lumbar spine. Onsite participants will have supervised lab sessions, including examination of individuals with hip pain. Virtual participants will experience multiple live demonstrations and small group interactions to practice postural / movement analysis skills. Virtual participants are encouraged to get a volunteer (family, friend) for practicing tests. Lab sessions will be focused on the lumbar spine and hip.

All participants of the Movement System Syndromes will be expected to be familiar with contents from Lower Quarter Foundation Webinars and Movement System Syndromes of the Lumbar Spine.
